Stacy and Joe welcomed their first born, Elizabeth Ann, to the world on July 24th, and what a cutie she is! She was awake and alert for most of the session, so we got plenty of shots of her pretty blue eyes. We also included the couple’s sweet pup, who Joe has had since college. I say it every time, but I just love including the fur babies in family portraits, because they’re family, too! Also, I can only hope I look as great as you did just a couple weeks after having a baby, Stacy — you were glowing! I wish you and your new family all the best!

It was such a pleasure getting to photograph Allison and Lee’s newest addition to their family. Allison was a sorority sister of mine, and I’ve so enjoyed watching their family grow over the years. Miss Evan is such a cutie pie, and their son Drew is the sweetest big brother ever! He followed us around the house during the session and loved getting to hold his sister’s hand or give her kisses. I couldn’t help but include a couple of outtakes toward the end… one of Drew’s favorite things to do was “make crab eyes!” — hilarious! Allison and Lee, I wish you all the best with your new family of four!

Catherine’s 1 yr Milestone Session – Dunwoody | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the Wynn family a couple times now, and I really enjoy seeing how much the little ones have grown between sessions. This time around, they were celebrating Catherine’s 1st birthday and included a cake smash at the end. It’s not often that a child is given a cake and encouraged to dig in hands (or mouth) first – and it’s always fun to see how each of them react! The birthday girl was a pretty dainty cake eater, but it was pretty clear that she enjoyed it.  At the end of the cake eating festivities, bis sister Julia exclaimed “that was amazing!!”… and I think Catherine would have agreed could she have told us herself!

Foster Family Session – Lenox Park | Atlanta Family Photographer

Late last fall, we did family/maternity photos for Julie and her family of 3 before Miss Molly joined them. This summer, Julie and her siblings wanted to do a big family photo session for their parents, and we had such a fun morning in Lenox Park doing just that! The girls were of course the stars of the session, but how could those cute faces not be? At one point, Ellie was holding her little sister and proclaimed, “I loooove my sister!!”… so sweet!
