Ashley’s Maternity Session, Part 2 – Buckhead | Atlanta Maternity Photographer

After returning from our vacation to Blowing Rock, NC, where we shot the majority of Ashley’s maternity portraits, we finished up with some at their Buckhead home. She did a phenomenal job decorating the perfect space for Ellis, from the grey/mint/navy color combo, to the wooden growth chart that her friend made, to the sweet little arrow details peppered throughout the room. Ashley and Adam made my job so easy, and it was an honor to get to capture this time of excitement and anticipation as they await the arrival of their baby boy. Ellis will be here in just about a month, and I cannot wait to meet him!

Evie’s Newborn Session – Atlanta | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

As her adorable nursery door sign says, “Welcome, Evie!” Her parents set up the cutest elephant-themed room for her, and I just loved the color combo they chose. How darling is that mobile? It looks like the elephants are dancing for baby!

Evie had a head full of dark hair just like her beautiful mama, and she was so perfectly sleepy and happy during her session… that is, until we decided to push our luck with a pink tutu. I actually met her mom Allison at a Stella & Dot trunk show I was doing last fall, and we got to talking about her baby that was due this spring. One thing led to another, and here we are! It’s funny how things work out sometimes. I enjoyed getting to photograph a little lady this time around, as it seems like 2016 is the year of the boy! 🙂

Tucker’s Newborn Session – Smyrna | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Once again, I had the complete honor and joy of photographing the newest addition to one of my favorite families. I had the pleasure of doing their second child’s newborn session just a year and a half ago, so I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph Tucker, who would be completing their family. He was born with red hair just like his older brother (which has been a big surprise to everyone who knows them), and he is just the sweetest little guy. He was so sleepy and calm during his session, even with his older brother and sister running around the house, playing with toys just a couple feet from where he was snoozing in the basket seen below. I guess when you’re the third child, you learn pretty quickly to go with the flow, right? His little smile in the first photo just melts my heart. Also, how is it possible to look as beautiful as mama Renee does just a couple weeks after having her third baby?? We’re all so happy you’re here, Tucker!

George’s Newborn Session – Atlanta | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

I didn’t meet George and his family until I arrived at their home for his newborn session this spring, but I could immediately tell he’s one lucky little guy. His big sister was obviously very proud of her new role, and she was the most adorable helper. George was nice and sleepy for most of the session, but as soon as he awoke, big sister was there with a bottle of milk for him. There’s nothing like sibling love, even from the very beginning. 🙂 Welcome to the world, little guy!

Sadie’s 2 Year Milestone Session – Marietta | Atlanta Children’s Photographer

I’ve been photographing Sadie since just after she was born, and I simply cannot believe she’s already TWO! How does time manage to pass so quickly? Her mom Anna is great about coming up with fun themes or ideas for Sadie’s photo sessions, so it’s always a treat to see what she’s thought of each time. For her 2 year photos, we gave her some birthday cupcakes, but she was much more interested in checking out the nearby sandbox. 🙂 The big hit was painting with neon squirt paints on a giant sheet, and then we finished up with a big bubble bath. Here’s to another wonderful year for Miss Sadie!SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-1SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-2SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-3SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-4SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-5SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-6SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-7SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-8SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-9SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-10SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-11SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-12SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-13SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-14SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-15SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-16SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-17SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-18SadieKing2yr-MHPblog-19
