This post is rather timely, as I just got home from shooting baby Brooks’ newborn session today! We met up for Paige’s maternity session back at the end of July at one of my favorite in-town parks, and it was such a beautiful afternoon. I still can’t get over those shots we got of big brother Rhys kissing his mama’s tummy in anticipation of baby brother on the way… heart melting! This is such a sweet family who I so enjoy working with, and I can’t wait to share the next installment with their newest addition!

It’s hard to believe, but it’s already time to start thinking about your family’s fall photo session! I am offering a selection of dates and locations to cater to my clients in and around the Atlanta area. Each of these spots will offer beautiful backdrops for your family’s holiday portraits.
Who are Fall Mini Sessions good for? 
Mini Sessions are meant to be quick and easy! If you just want to get a few great photos for your annual holiday cards, a Mini Session will be perfect for you. Or if you’ve had regular family sessions with me throughout the year, this is a great option for a quick update in beautiful fall weather (here’s hoping Atlanta weather cooperates and brings us some fall foliage early on this year!). I am also offering full one-hour Family Sessions throughout the fall, but availability will be limited. If you want a more personalized session for you and your family with a variety of poses or feel that a full hour will be needed to give your little ones time to run and play and just be their silly selves in between (and during) photos, then this is what you’ll need. See the PRICING page for more information on regular family sessions.

Ashley and Scott are expecting their first baby in September — a sweet little boy named Wells, in honor of Ashley’s beloved grandfather. I’ve been working with the Wynn family for a few years now, and I always love seeing them for their next seasonal session. This time around, they invited Tyler’s family to join them before his sister’s family moves out of the country. We tried out a new location, which has become one of my new favorites, and I can’t wait to shoot there again. It’s such a joy to watch clients and their families grow and change with the seasons. On my way to their session, I was thinking back to the first time I met the Wynns. Catherine was just a baby — now she has pigtails, and her big sister Julia is going into 1st grade this year. I’m so grateful for these wonderful return clients who also become friends. Enjoy these summer session highlights.

Now that the weather is warming up and the trees are blooming, it’s the perfect time to get your family together for some spring portraits!  After some inquiries about mini sessions for families, I’m going to be doing Spring Mini Sessions in April and May. Here’s how they will work:
DATE/LOCATION #1: Sunday, April 10th at Whittier Mill Park in Northwest Atlanta (just inside 285 off South Cobb)

DATE/LOCATION #2: Sunday, May 15th at Tanyard Creek Park/Northside Beltline Trail (off Collier Rd in Buckhead)

WHAT’S INCLUDED: 30 minute session for up to 5 people; 15 digital images with printing/posting rights; $10 print credit
COST: $175
To book your spot, please email me with the date/time slot you’d prefer, as well as a 2nd option in case your first choice has already been booked. A $50 deposit is required to secure your spot (will be deducted from $175 total). More details on a meeting spot, parking, etc. will be sent closer to the session date.
