I didn’t know it at the time of shooting this session, but as most everyone knows now, I am pregnant with twin girls (and we also have a daughter who is 3 yrs). Looking back through this gallery of images has become a little more special to me now knowing that we’ll hopefully one day be taking similar photos of our own gaggle of girls. The C girls are truly the best kids (teens, actually) and they have been raised by a beautiful, fierce, amazing mama. I so admire Tierney for raising such wonderful young ladies, and I can only hope we are able to do the same with our family. I loved shooting these family photos at their new home and getting to spend some time with these silly sisters. Enjoy my favorites!

Meet Everly | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Our dear friends welcomed their second daughter in early September, and what a sweet little lady she is. I couldn’t stop oohing and aahing over her beautifully-designed nursery… I need that rug in my life! Everly’s grandmother gave her this gorgeous knit blanket, and it was absolutely perfect for her newborn photos — so timeless and classic. I so loved getting to spend this precious time with some of my favorite people. Welcome to the world, Everly!

Meet the second addition to the M family! He was born a couple months ago and I’ve since seen him and his family again for a fall mini session, which was so fun, because he’s already grown a ton since then! I got his baby announcement in the mail recently, and I just loved the text across the front: “the name’s jack” — so I couldn’t resist borrowing it for the title of this blog post! I absolutely adore this family… they are the kind of people who make you feel at ease as soon as you walk into their home, and they are genuine and so kind. It’s always a treat to get to photograph them, and I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their in-home newborn session (including a funny outtake with big sis).

Fall sessions have had me going 90 to nothing the past couple months, and I’m finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. 🙂 Not that I’m complaining, because I’m more grateful with each passing year to see all of my amazing client families again and again each fall! This group of mini sessions took place at the Dunwoody Nature Center, which I really like for the thick foliage and pretty rocks. I had such a fun afternoon with these five precious families and couldn’t wait to share some favorites from each one. Lucy is One – Buckhead | Atlanta Family Photographer

Lucy turned one not too long ago… but long enough that it was still warm enough to wear these darling little outfits in September. 😉 It’s always so fun to see my client families as they grow, and these two girls are no exception. Those little leg rolls of Lucy’s just kill me. I also absolutely love how Emily styled her family — neutral with a nice touch of girlyness (is that a word?) that will look timeless for years to come. We had such a great time shooting at this gem of a location in Buckhead… you’d never know that they all off to work and daycare right after this!
