Baby Awsumb’s Newborn Session – Old Fourth Ward | Atlanta Newborn Photographer
After meeting Kate and Brian at their maternity session, I knew we were in for more excitement once baby Awsumb arrived. They are easily one of the most fun couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and what a great way to start off 2015! It was so neat getting to not only document this new family of 3 (plus Waldo!), but being able to include Kate’s parents, who were in town from Minnesota to meet their beautiful granddaughter. We had a ball pulling out random props (like Kate’s tennis racket) as well as more sentimental items (like Brian’s “it’s a girl!” hat and each of their childhood stuffed animals) to add some personality and meaning to their photos. Also, this is the first time I’ve ever had a client put on an impromptu guitar performance during our session! I think it’s pretty easy to see the pure joy beaming from both of their faces. Congratulations, Awsumb family!

Sweet Vivienne is Maggie and Mario’s first child, and she was such an angel baby during our session. She has a head full of hair just begging for a little crown to top it, which I was happy to do. What a joy they were to work with on my first session of the new year!
Sadie’s 9 Month Mini Milestone Session – Marietta | Atlanta Childrens Photographer
It’s hard to believe that little miss Sadie is already 9 months old! I have thoroughly enjoyed the past three sessions with Sadie and her parents, as it’s really given me a chance to get to know their family, which always makes for better photos. We’ve had fun thinking up themes and props for her milestone sessions, and she has been such an angel of a model every time! It’s crazy to think that in just a few months, we’ll be finishing up the milestones with her 1st birthday session!

Sara and Tyler have a beautiful home in Dunwoody, which made for a great backdrop for some quick family photos before the holidays. Their girls are so cute and full of personality, and I can’t wait to work with them again this spring!
