Perry Family Session – Park Studios | Atlanta Family Photographer

When one of my friends and fellow Atlanta photographers, Jenny, asked me to photograph her family at Park Studios recently, I happily obliged! I have been dying to work in this new space in Buckhead, and what a better opportunity than with another photographer friend? Jenny styled her family beautifully (the boys’ outfits are from Zara), and we had so.much.fun. playing in the studio space. The lighting is simply stunning, and the white floors and walls make for the most perfect blank slate of a backdrop. The boys had plenty of room to run (or crawl) and play with their wooden toys that Jenny brought, and I was able to capture gorgeous images without stopping to pose them very often. I highly recommend considering this studio space for clients who want bright, classic, and timeless portraits.  Really… how could you ever grow tired of seeing classic photos like these displayed in your home? Thank you, Park Studios, for allowing us to use your beautiful space for this family session!

Meet Remy. She made her debut on her actual due date, September 14th, and she looks so much like her big sister, Lainey. I’ve been friends with her beautiful mama since our freshman year of college, and it has been such a neat journey to watch her marry Russ, have their first baby, and now their second. I’m so thankful that I get a front row seat to some of life’s most special and important moments for my friends and clients. Yep, I’d pretty much call it a dream job. Lucy’s Newborn Session – Buckhead | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Lucy made her debut into the world a couple weeks early… just in time for her parents to move back into their home they’d been renovating for the past several months. Nothing like cutting it close! 🙂 I had the most lovely morning shooting at their beautiful, light-filled home — their newly-added master bedroom was the perfect spot for the majority of our photos. Lucy was bright-eyed for most of our session, but she was so content and happy to be swaddled and held by her parents and big sister, Harper, who loved kissing on her. Just before our session, I found out that Emily grew up in Franklin, TN, which is where my husband is from… such a small world! It is so much fun bonding with clients over common interests and friends. Enjoy these favorites from Miss Lucy’s September newborn session!

Leighton’s 2 Year Milestone Session – Smyrna | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

My baby is TWO. In so many ways, this second year of her life has flown by infinitely faster than the first one did. We’re on the go most days, and she’s learning new things weekly, if not daily. Watching her navigate the world around her and learning how things work, seeing her personality blossom, and getting to experience things with her as she does them for the first time… it’s awe-inspiring and sort of takes my breath away at times. With each passing month and year, I am more and more grateful for the blessing of staying home with her while running a business I truly love.

Leighton Lane, we wish you the happiest of birthdays, sweet baby girl! We love you more than you will ever know. Thank you for making us parents two years ago, and thank you for making every day a joy (and for putting up with my photo session ideas). 😉

Ila is the third little girl that Raven and Caan have welcomed into their family, and oh, how she is loved! Her two big sisters doted on her, couldn’t wait to hold her for photos, and helped pick out headbands for her to wear during solo shots. She is going to have so much fun growing up with those two loving on her (or maybe bossing her around when they’re older?). 🙂 I just adore getting to document this intimate, special time in my clients’ lives… bringing baby home and settling into a new normal with a tiny new family member. Welcome to the world, Ila!
