Adelaide was born in October, and she was just the sweetest, calmest little gal during her newborn session. I loved her chic, bright nursery and all of the unique little details. (Nurseries are always one of my favorite parts about shooting newborn sessions!) Her parents are so head-over-heels in love with her, and I think we really captured that emotion and joy in these photos. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites…
Welcome to the world, Miss Cora! Her parents decided to wait until she was born to find out if she was a girl or a boy… something I don’t know if I’d have the patience to do, but I can only imagine what an incredible surprise that would be. I loved shooting in her light-filled nursery and also incorporating her two fur siblings, Biscuit and Bourbon (awesome names, right??). Lorraine and Will, thank you for choosing me to document this most special time in your family’s life! It was truly my pleasure.
Reagan turned one last month, so we did a little family session in their beautiful backyard to commemorate the occasion. They had this adorable little Radio Flyer wagon/walker in their living room, and it made the perfect addition to her photos. And the impromptu face lick from their pup at the end… we couldn’t have planned that if we had tried! Reagan is such a happy, loved little girl. Oh, this little Gerber baby! My longtime friend Anna’s little boy, Coleman, turned 6 months old in October, and he just kills me with those baby blues and chubby thighs. Gimme alllll the baby rolls!! I also cannot handle those miniature loafers just like his daddy’s! Enjoy some favorites from our session at one of my favorite in-town parks!
Now that my sessions are mostly done for the year, I am excited to dive into some blogging to share what I’ve been up to the past few months! This sweet family has been a client of mine since Leona was born, and it’s been wonderful watching her grow the past two years. I just can’t get over that head of beautiful curls! As with most two years olds (mine included), she was a busy little bee and found all sorts of sticks and leaves and pebbles to share with us. 🙂 This age is just so much fun! Happy (belated) 2nd birthday, Miss Leona! I hope the next year brings lots of new adventures for your family.
