Courtney and Joey are just the cutest, and Miss Bailey could not be a sweeter puppy. A new park is like the ultimate playground to a dog — there were ducks to chase, people to watch, and leaves to bite, but she was such a trooper at their holiday mini session. This time next year, there will be a little baby in the mix!
I’ve known the Arden/Redmond/Brown family for quite a few years now, and it’s been such a joy watching their little ones grow, with more of them being added to the crew. The three Arden siblings (including 5yr old twins) are such a hoot and they each have fun, different personalities. I’ve watched their cousins, the two littlest ones, literally grow from day one. And they have the most proud, loving parents and grandparents. These little maniacs certainly gave me a run for my money during our session, but I had the best time. It’s quite an honor to get to photograph families of all shapes and sizes, but it’s the most special when I get to capture memories for those friends who feel like family of my own.
Devon and I met at the start of our freshman year in college at UGA. We lived on the same hall together, but lost touch in the years after that. Thanks to my business with Stella & Dot, we rekindled our friendship, and she joined my team as a Stylist. It’s been so fun getting to know her better and meeting her husband Nate. They have two adorable fur babies, and we had the best time wandering around one the lakes in their neighborhood (yes, IN their neighborhood!), hiking through the woods, and being silly.
Lindsey and Seth brought their cutie pie pup Tuck to The Goat Farm for a little holiday session last weekend. Being a fellow dog lover, I really enjoy when couples or families like to include their furry family members in their portraits. They can certainly make for an interesting session, but Mr. Tuck was on his best behavior and looked so cute in his polka dot bandana!
Ray and Lisa married in a small ceremony overlooking the river in Roswell, and it couldn’t have turned out to be a more beautiful afternoon. Rain and hot temps threatened to put a damper on the day, but the skies cleared just in time for them to say “I do.” They included lovely details in the day, from tiny white pumpkins in the centerpieces and a photo of Lisa’s father in a locket on her bouquet to a ceremony runner hand painted by a friend and adorable cupcakes topped with a tux and wedding gown. Their love for each other filled the room, and it was an honor to be a small part of their day. Ray and Lisa, I wish your new family many years of happiness, love, and laughter!
