It’s always fun when you find out that you have a connection to new clients through a friend or contact. Barrett’s mom Christina went to Auburn, which is where my husband went as well, so we had fun chatting during their session. Barrett was such a trooper in the chilly weather, and his parents couldn’t have been sweeter. I look forward to seeing the W family again for his 8 month session early next year!
Oh Miss Molly, how I just adore her! I have been friends with Molly’s parents since college (I lived on the same hall as Kristina our freshman year), and it’s been such a joy to watch their little girl grow over her first year. She’s known affectionately as #mollymully, and from the very start, she’s perfected the “mean mug” look. We had a great time doing her cake smash session, even though she wasn’t a big fan of the situation. I’m so excited for her to become friends with Leighton as they get older!
Rowan and her blonde pigtails are almost too much cuteness to handle. It’s amazing how much she’s grown since last year’s fall session. She has become such a busy, inquisitive little girl, and she had such a fun time tossing pumpkins, pulling the wagon, chasing bubbles, and eating snacks. And how adorable are those little knee socks?!
Oh how I love having a sweet doll baby of my own to test out props and do mini sessions with!
I adore this knit pumpkin hat for newborn sessions. The Viking hat was a gift from a coworker, and it’ll make an adorable prop for older milestone sessions.
Leighton is going to be a cupcake for her first Halloween because throughout my pregnancy I joked that she might come out as a cupcake or donut due to the number of desserts I ate. Thankfully she did not! 🙂 I found the sweetest knit hat on Etsy and paired it with a brown onesie as the “cake” portion of the cupcake. I hope everyone has a fun, spooky, safe Halloween this weekend!
I’ve been shooting Miss Sadie’s milestone portraits since she was just 3 months old — and now she’s a year and a half! It’s amazing how quickly time has flown by. I just adore her little blonde pig tails and her adorable smile. She had a great time picking up leaves, tossing her mom’s pumpkins like bowling balls, and “reading” her books for us. Childhood is so sweet, and I’m thankful to have a job that allows me to capture these moments for families like Sadie’s!
