Jack’s Newborn Session – Brookhaven | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Meet Jack! He was born on April 18th and is my most special client yet because he made me an aunt! Needless to say, this newborn session was near and dear to my heart. A few weeks ago, I got to spend the morning with my brother and sister-in-law and their brand new baby boy (and Riley, their Yellow Lab and first baby). Jack has blonde hair and blue eyes, and he is just the sweetest little snuggle bug. I love it when clients want to include sentimental items in their sessions, and this one was no exception. After all these years, our mom still had the shirt Andrew came home in from the hospital, as well as a pair of boots our great-grandmother crocheted for him. Lauren’s parents had saved a little league t-shirt that once belonged to her younger brother, and she’d added it to a display of all sorts of “little boy things” in his room. We got a few shots of him in these as surprise Mother’s Day gifts for both grandmothers. So sweet!

It’s so hard to believe that my little brother is now a dad, but he and Lauren have welcomed the change seamlessly and are already such amazing parents. Baby Jack (or “Bobby Gack” as Leighton calls him) is a such blessing to our family, and I am just thrilled to have a front row seat to watch his life unfold.

Welcome to the world, Jack! We love you with all of our hearts.

Reid’s 1 Year Milestone Session – Chamblee | Atlanta Children’s Photographer

Reid is one! I first met him and his parents last fall when he was just 6 months old and the smiliest little guy… not much has changed on that front. 🙂 He is so happy and easy-going, and it was a joy to spend the morning at the K family’s home with them. He started walking right around his first birthday — what a way to celebrate! I just love being able to capture those big milestones in a child’s first year so that their parents can look back on them for years to come. Happy first birthday, Reid!

N Family Spring Session – Smyrna | Atlanta Family Photographer

The bond between sisters has to be one of the sweetest, most genuine types of love, and the N sisters are no exception. During our recent spring session, Amelia loved tickling and talking to her little sister, Libby, who is about to turn one. And I just could not get over these two darling little girls and their matching pink outfits! We met up at a local little hidden gem of a park in Smyrna and had fun wandering through its paths, swinging on this great wooden swing, and crawling around on a little wooden boardwalk that I just love using for photos. Miss Libby was a crawling machine, and I’m so happy we were able to catch her in her element at this stage. Enjoy a peak at the N family’s spring portraits!

Sadie’s 3 Year Milestone Session – Smyrna | Atlanta Children’s Photographer

I’ve been photographing Miss Sadie since she was just three months old, and now she’s three YEARS old! My, how times flies. It’s been so fun to see how much she’s grown in between each of our sessions. And just last weekend, I had the honor of photographing her mom and stepdad’s wedding up in Blue Ridge, GA — it was such a lovely day! The best is yet to come for this sweet family of three.

Meredith’s Maternity Session – McFarlane Park | Marietta Maternity Photographer

I’ve known Meredith for a few years now, and she emulates beauty, both inside and out — and her pregnancy is no different! She is quite the business woman/girl boss — she owns two boutiques in Atlanta, and because of that, her style is so unique and fun. I knew I’d be in for a treat when she asked me to do maternity portraits for her! We met at a neat little park in their neighborhood just before sunset, and I could not be happier with how these turned out. There’s something so ethereal and enchanted about her look in combination with the surroundings of the park — especially that giant tree we found! It was an absolute pleasure capturing this exciting time for Meredith and Rob as they anticipate the arrival of their first born (a boy, if you couldn’t tell by her sweet blue dress!).
