Landon’s Newborn Session – Suwanee | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Landon joined his family in September, and what a little doll he is!  I had such a fun morning documenting this new family of four. I photographed her for her first birthday back in May, and it’s hard to believe she’s already taken on the roll of big sister. If all of the snuggles and kisses she wanted to give her little brother are any indication, she’s going to be fantastic at her new job. Landon is one lucky boy to be joining such a wonderful family, and I can’t wait to watch him grow over the next year!

Connor’s 4 Month Milestone Session – Cator Woolford Gardens | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

For Connor’s 4 month milestone session last month, I had the pleasure of shooting at a location that is new to me, which I always enjoy! Connor was such a happy little guy, and I had so much fun playing with and photographing his big sis. They both have the most beautiful blue eyes! We made sure there would be no events taking place that day (apparently it’s a hot spot for weddings), so we had the place all to ourselves for their afternoon session. I love this big staircase surrounded by greenery, and I think I could have stayed all day on their lawn in the middle of the gardens. I so enjoyed this hidden gem off Ponce, and I can’t wait to shoot there again. Enjoy some favorites of this sweet 4 month old and his family!

Madeline’s Fresh 48 – Piedmont Hospital | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Meet Madeline… she joined her parents last month and I had the honor of taking some of their first photographs as a family of three. Walking into a hospital room to meet a brand new baby in their first couple days on Earth… there’s not much else like it. And to get to capture those fleeting first moments of new parents with their first child is icing on the cake. Brittany and David were so kind and wonderful and simply in awe of their little baby girl. It was a joy and a pleasure to be a part of this time with them. Welcome to the world, Madeline!

Wells’ Newborn Session – Hoschton | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Michael “Wells” was named after his dad and also in honor of his mama’s beloved grandfather. His dad has been friends with my younger brother since college, and it’s been really fun watching them grow up, get married, and now both have their first babies. Wells was the sweetest, sleepy angel during his session, and his puppy siblings were too funny… they scarfed down raw green beans as a treat! (Now if only I could get our dog to go for that…)
One of Ashley’s family members made the most adorable little black and white tie to look like one of her grandfather’s favorites that he used to wear, so naturally, we had to get some shots of Wells in that. I love being able to incorporate items that have a special meaning to the family, and there’s no doubt that those photos of Wells will always remind Ashley of her grandfather. Welcome to the world, Wells! We’re glad you’re here.

Lorraine’s Maternity Session – Roswell | Atlanta Maternity Photographer

Lorraine and Will are patiently awaiting the arrival of their first child, who is due any time now. We met up on Labor Day (no pun intended) to shoot her maternity portraits at my favorite new spot in Roswell/Peachtree Corners, and they brought their two pups, Biscuit and Bourbon. They were so well-behaved and are clearly professionals at having their photos taken. 😉 I love Lorraine’s bright and colorful dress, which really popped against the greenery in the park. She said it was her favorite piece of maternity clothing, and I’m glad she chose it, because I think it’s always important that the mama-to-be feel both beautiful and comfortable in what she’s wearing. They’re waiting to find out the sex until baby is born, which always makes for such an exciting announcement. I can’t wait to hear the news once Baby S makes his or her arrival!
