This little guy is the fifth male in his family to be given the name James… what a wonderful thing to be able to carry from generation to generation. I drove up to Chattanooga, TN to shoot this session for a sweet friend, and it was so worth the drive from Atlanta! I could not get over his head of dark brown hair, and he was so sleepy and snuggly.  He’s one lucky boy to have parents like his, and I am so happy for this little family of three. Welcome to the world, James!

Adelaide was born in October, and she was just the sweetest, calmest little gal during her newborn session. I loved her chic, bright nursery and all of the unique little details. (Nurseries are always one of my favorite parts about shooting newborn sessions!) Her parents are so head-over-heels in love with her, and I think we really captured that emotion and joy in these photos. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites…

Welcome to the world, Miss Cora! Her parents decided to wait until she was born to find out if she was a girl or a boy… something I don’t know if I’d have the patience to do, but I can only imagine what an incredible surprise that would be. I loved shooting in her light-filled nursery and also incorporating her two fur siblings, Biscuit and Bourbon (awesome names, right??). Lorraine and Will, thank you for choosing me to document this most special time in your family’s life! It was truly my pleasure.

Reagan’s 1 Year Session – Atlanta | Atlanta Family Photographer

Reagan turned one last month, so we did a little family session in their beautiful backyard to commemorate the occasion. They had this adorable little Radio Flyer wagon/walker in their living room, and it made the perfect addition to her photos. And the impromptu face lick from their pup at the end… we couldn’t have planned that if we had tried!
