This Wild Thing is One | Atlanta Family Photographer

Photographing friends and their growing families is one of my favorite things to do. Marshall turned one in March and they celebrated with the cutest little “Where the Wild Things Are” party at the park. We had to wait for some warmer weather to finally shoot his one year photos, and we ended up having the nicest morning for our session. We finished up with a cake smash, and big sister Molly just could.not.wait to get her hands on it! 🙂 I just adore this family to pieces, and I so look forward to watching these two kiddos grow over the years. Enjoy some favorites of this darling family!

Cade is 4 Months | Atlanta Family Photographer

I love shooting outdoors using natural light, but I also can’t resist a good in-home session. For Cade’s four month milestone session, we opted for just this, as we’d previously done his big sister’s four month session at the family’s home. Children always seem a bit more at ease when we shoot in their home, because it’s familiar and the place they’re most comfortable with. Plus, when needed, mom or dad can easily grab the ipad to entertain a sibling for a bit. 😉 I so enjoyed spending the morning with this sweet family of four (plus their pup!). You can’t beat a happy, smiley baby and a darling big sister all cozied up in the crib together. Enjoy these in-home milestone favorites!

Mommy + Me Mini with Lindsay | Atlanta Family Photographer

Lindsay is the mom of two little ones who are three and seven months — what a fun, crazy, whirlwind season of life. All the more reason to document it, because we all know that these years fly by waaay too quickly. These blue-eyed babies are so sweet, and we had so much fun playing around the park together. Upon delivering her gallery, Lindsay told me that her mother-in-law viewed it and was in tears, saying she wished she had done this with her children when they were little. And that is exactly why I’m so thrilled to offer these new sessions for my amazing mama clients.

Landon is 6 Months | Atlanta Family Photographer

Landon was such a trooper during his 6 month milestone session, even though we were shooting during part of his morning nap time. I just love this squishy, happy age so much. Those rolls and big blue eyes… I just can’t handle the cuteness! I love photographing 6 month olds because they are usually full-on rolly polly, they’re smiley and happy, and they can’t run away from me yet! You can so clearly see the love and adoration that this mama and daddy have for their little family, and I hope Carolina and Landon will cherish these images many years down the road when they’re too big to be held by them like this.

Baby Sister Ellie | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Annelle (Ellie) Clark was born on February 20th and was named after her dad’s mother and her mom’s great grandmother. I love asking new parents how they decided on their child’s name, whether it was in honor of someone special or just something they loved. I first met this family when Caroline was pregnant with Ellie’s older brother, Charlie, and I’ve been photographing their special milestones ever since. This time was unique, though, in that both sets of grandparents were in town to meet their newest grand baby, so we included them in some extended family portraits. Don’t they all look so lovely together on that navy couch? Ellie is the perfect addition to the L family, and I’m so happy she’s here!
