Apple Pie is One | Atlanta Family Photographer

As I’ve said before, I love a good nickname for babies… I mean, we jokingly call our daughter LL Cool Hayes and our twins on the way are affectionately called “Cake & Ice Cream.” 🙂  Miss Claire was nicknamed “Apple Pie” while she was in mama’s belly, and I couldn’t help but continue to reference that “sweet” name during her one year session this past fall. These sisters were so cute together, and they have one lucky set of parents who get to watch them grow up together.

Cameran is One | Atlanta Family Photographer

Cameran is one! We shot her milestone session in her family’s home just like we did for her big sister’s a couple years prior, and it was so fun to recreate some of the same shots. Some of my faves were those that we got in her crib. I loved the natural light and that decorative wood-trimmed wall behind the crib. Also, gotta love a good cake smash and a baby in a tutu. Cameran is such a happy little girl, and I have no doubt that her second year will be full of joy and laughter.

A Backyard Session in Dunwoody | Atlanta Family Photographer

Ok, I know I’m biased, but is my nephew Jack not just the cutest little thing ever? His smile lights up his whole face and does a pretty good job of getting him out of trouble, too. 😉 He’s creeping up on two years old and is such a smart, funny, wild little man. And in just a couple short months, he’s going to become a big brother!! We can’t wait to add their sweet little girl to the crew (along with our twin girls a month or so later)… 2019 is surely going to be exciting for our whole family! On another note, how gorgeous is this backyard? I’ve featured it before for one of their sessions, and I loved it even more this time around. I mean… that green covered bridge is like something out of a magazine. Lauren’s dad has such an eye for landscape design, and it truly shows at his home. Enjoy some favorites below!

Welcome to the Family, Peter – Buckhead | Atlanta Family Photographer

Kate and I were roommates at one point after graduating from college, and I have such fond memories of that time in our lives. I adore this family, and it was such a treat to document this moment in time for them. Peter is the third child to be welcomed by Kate and James, and he is an absolute doll. I mean, he literally looks like a baby doll and is just as sweet as pie. We shot their family session at their home when Peter was just a couple months old, and I can’t get enough of the shots of them all snuggled up on Kate and James’ bed. This session was sweet, silly, a bit rambunctious, and filled with love. Welcome to the world, Peter. We’re glad you’re here.

Harlee is 6 Months | Atlanta Family Photographer

How stinking cute are these two sisters?? Harlee turned six months back in August, but before I knew it, we were knee-deep in fall sessions, so I wanted to save this session to share later. Both girls have the brightest eyes and sweetest smiles, and Miss Harlee was happy as a clam to be half a year old. These outfits were beyond darling, and it makes me so excited to dress all three of my girls as they grow. I loved their pops of pink against all of the greenery in my favorite local park. I’ll actually be shooting Harlee’s one year session next month, which is just hard to believe. I can’t want to see how much she’s changed!
